WHAT WE DO:
WCBF Helps Make Good Ideas Happen
The Sirolli model, used by WCBF, provides free and confidential coaching to individuals wishing to start, expand, or buy a local business. The process is comprehensive, but not complex. Business facilitation relies on the entrepreneur’s internal motivation. The first step in the process is for a client to contact the business facilitator to set up a meeting. The facilitator will listen to the client’s idea, asking questions to clarify understanding, and provide feedback. The business facilitator assesses the personal motivation and skill of the client and develops the client's capacity to assess their own management strengths and weaknesses. The facilitator becomes a mentor, advocate, and “business doctor” to anyone with a business idea.
The business facilitator may ask the client to take certain actions to further the business ideas. This may include research of product, financing, or other specific needs of the business idea. The facilitator may also connect the client with other community resources that may provide expertise in the particular area the client is pursuing
Business facilitation is always confidential and the services are provided free to the client. Whether you want to start a new business or improve an existing business, our business facilitator can help.
